There are lots of roles in order to make the revolution work, something for everyone, so please feel free to let us know what skills and time you have, just fill in the form below.
All roles are voluntary, though we are working hard on bringing in more funding so some will be able to have volunteer living expenses covered.
The following roles are a priority:
1. Funding & Finance Support Volunteer
About the Role: We’re seeking organised, detail-oriented individuals to help refine our budget and funding strategy. You’ll assist with finalising our draft funding applications, reaching out to potential funders, completing application forms, and tracking progress. Additionally, you’ll monitor and record donations and expense claims using our Open Collective platform.
Time Commitment: Initially just a few hours per week, increasing as the campaign grows (additional volunteers can be recruited later if needed).
Ideal Volunteer:
- Good with numbers and budgeting
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable handling online forms and platforms
- Good written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
2. Alliance Builder Volunteer
About the Role: Are you an enthusiastic networker who loves connecting people? You’ll be helping us expand our alliances by reaching out to potential partner organisations, following up leads, and nurturing new connections. You’ll manage incoming enquiries through our email, send out media and action packs, provide information, answer queries, and assist in setting up meetings.
Time Commitment: Flexible, ideally a few hours each week initially.
Ideal Volunteer:
- Confident communicator
- Friendly and proactive
- Good organisational skills
- Comfortable with email and online communications
3. Climate Media Analysis Project (CMAP) Volunteer
About the Role: Do you care about accurate climate reporting and holding the media accountable?
Join the Climate Media Accountability Project (CMAP) team to help review daily newspapers for climate-related coverage.
You’ll scan through assigned newspapers (available via the free Borrowbox app or purchased in print), capture relevant articles, and share them with the group, ensuring critical information is accessible promptly for campaigners and researchers.
Time Commitment: Flexible; just a couple of hours per week, with articles shared daily, ideally by 10:30
