2nd – 6th November 2026: Disrupt Billionaire Spin & Build a Movement Media
Around the world, the most urgent stories of our time — from mass displacement and starvation in Sudan and the Congo, to global uprisings in France, Brazil, Albania, and Australia, to climate breakdown, Palestine, animal cruelty, and protest rights — are buried or distorted by a billionaire-owned press.
Last year, Media Liberation Day was a single day (5th November). For 2026, we’ve expanded into a full global week of simple action that anyone can take part in, special events and community News Clubs — while deliberately leaving space on 4th–5th November to stand in solidarity with the landmark UK Supreme Court hearing challenging the proscription of Palestine Action.

Launching a News Club Network: An Antidote to Disinformation & Division
At the heart of today’s intersecting crises — climate breakdown, inequality, conflict, and social division — is a media landscape shaped by billionaire, corporate, and political interests.
Join Media Revolution and Conway Hall Ethical Society in London for an afternoon and evening of speakers, networking, and an interactive, practical workshop where you can experience a live News Club in action using our CAPE toolkit (Content, Accuracy, Politics, and Emotions).

WED 4TH & THU 5TH NOV • SOLIDARITY AT THE UK SUPREME COURT (LONDON)
Solidarity Space: Defend Our Juries ‘Lift The Ban’ Hearing
Nearly 4,000 ordinary citizens — average age 59 — have been arrested under the Terrorism Act for peacefully holding signs opposing genocide and supporting Palestine Action while the billionaire media stays silent.
On 4th and 5th November, we are deliberately holding daytime space to stand in solidarity with the landmark Supreme Court challenge to overturn the ban — and putting their story on newspaper stands everywhere with our 4000 “Terror” Arrests Cover Story.
